Spurs thought they could capitalise...Milner proved them wrong. He struggled but bounced back again and again and scored...
Can see the difference when that Pool stupid striker DS is not playing.....

Last week game against Burnley, he slowed down every attacks ..
2nd half should sub lallana out wif origi in. Couti also quite poor.

I thought Coutinho doesnt look 100%. Should be one of the players to sub out later in the 2nd half.
Thats y! Without him they can attack with speed. If give him, he will gelek here turn there n lose the ball. Can see the difference when that Pool stupid striker DS is not playing.....

Still, leading by a solitary goal at half time is scant comfort as we are not known to have a watertight defence.
And the Tottenham goal duly arrived.
A bit of sloppiness creeped in towards the later stages.

Scrappy game but chances spurned by Coutinho n the disallowed goal proved crucial.
Matip settling in nicely with composed debut.
2 wks time home match to open the new stand against the Champs, good luck!!

Finally we played 3 away games ...
Got 4 points out of possible 9.... but we did get these points against possible top 4 cents contenders :)
Time for international break and we will be back to our lovely expanded Anfield :))
This break will give massive time for players to catch up on their injuries and fitness ...
Also for Klopp to think through our players ....
Most importantly our players can have a rest :))
Anfield here we come back soon :))

Good news for you, Lucas on the subs benchSeems like he is like a cockroach, never die one still around
Can injured so not many option available. But looking at Klopp opting for Lucas instead of Klavan on the bench means that he is going to use Lucas cover centre back + midfield.
Edited by Joseph22, 27 August 2016 - 10:58 PM.
Actually the goal Spurs score... Why near post again. We have so many defender on far post. Mignolet should guard near post.

i think the 2 pool players under pressure, JH and Migs, played really well today.
the spurs goal, yes it went near post, but what do u do when both fullbacks missing?

the unlearning of brenda's defensive strategy is taking incredible long, this team simply cannot defend as an unit.

positive side: in a stretch of 30s in 2nd half, Firmino dispossess 4 Spurs players, Matip looks good

negative: Gini W cost 25M? wtf did he do in the match?

Mignolet is habitually letting goals on the near post. we can say the two CB is missing, but the matter of fact is, near post is a keeper mistake, especially when he know there are at least 2 Defender at the far post.
Clyne has not played a good game since the season started. We know his size can be easily out-muscled during aerial duels but my sense is he is not playing to his expectations yet. So i will gv him some time there. At worst, Can can play RB but that is really unthinkable.

Milner was wonderful filling as LB and foiling a few attacks. So i gv him a chance to shine there and compete with Moreno. We still have Gomez.

Matip impressed me bec when i watched his plays during the friendlies, he did not come across as steady as i wld have liked him to be. He even had a header that was tipped to the post by Vorm. However, he showed that he can also partner Lovren as the CB partnership. At present, it will be Lovren-Klvan/Matip.

Henderson performed better but still not to the heights we had seen of him. He cld be playing under certain instructions so agn i gv him time to show us he derserves a starting spot, and the captaincy. Otherwise, Can/Grujic could be our answer to address his occasional woeful displays.

Origi seems different after recovering from injury. It seems that he does not dare to challenge the players for the balls. Phobia? Gv him some time there to recover his touch. We still have Ings, DS...hopefully Ben Woodburn gets his chance to play as well.

Coutihno has moments of brilliance and hailed as having a great game if he scores one. However, i find that he is often trying to wand some magic than be a contributor to the game-play at the team-level. His inconsistency is also not helping our cause.

Firmino may be JK' pet but slows the pace of the game with extra touches like Coutihno and Lallana. His fitness also a concern.

Wijnaldrum had 2 shots that threatened Vorms...so supports play well. He is like Lucas whereby he does the dirty work behind the scenes.

Spurs' players are abit rough, like Rose, Dele. And they had a referee who was not officiating with high standards.

We go again lads. After 3 games, we have a win, a loss and a draw.

I think JK is trying to find his best 11 and field them; but can the anfield faithfuls gv him the time he requires to weave his magic....Look at the team, how many of the players are bought by him? How i wish RB could be ard bec he will use the resources astutely and is a shrewd tactician.

My own thinkings...
Hate to see Henderson on the field.

He was there to make up the numbers of "11" ... if we don't play him, we will have "10" against "11" ... that's how "important" he was ..

ok, just joking lah ...

We need Can to be back lah ....
why do we whack our own players until so jialat?
arent we pool fans and suppose to support the team and players through thick and thin?

i maintain henderson and migs did well. but the defending needs a lot of improvement

i do not see how much much can Can and Grujic provide if they are asked to play the DM role. both so far wanna be SG.
t
he simi Gini is currently the weak link in my opinion.
That reminded me of Kante sole mistake in the game against Everton at the end of last season that resulted in a goal to the visitor which ended 3-1. He was brilliant throughout that game...just one mistake and the opponent captured the chance...
I won't totally fault Mignolet for the equaliser as the RB joined the CB to challenge the header; but he did closed his eyes and not look at the ball during an attempt to save. Rose sliced the ball with his outer foot to slot in the tiny gap bt the keeper and upright.
That's the beauty of football. Not the better team wins all the time. It's often the team that seizes the availability of chance that does.
Watford created lots of chances last night against the gunners but the latter seized the moments.
Can't wait for next match against Foxes at Anfield on 10 Sep 2016, Saturday at 12.30am (Singapore time on 11 Sep) ...

And then the mouth watering against Chelsea on 17 Sep, 3am away at Stamford bridge ...

2 matches that will define our destiny ...
is this the first time in EPL history that the goals were scored by the LB of both teams?

Our left back scored.

I am not feeling very good with the start.

It is starting to look like the same old pattern that has plagued us over the last few seasons. And Klopp is starting to sound like Brenda.

Brenda is obsessed with Allen. Klopp is obsessed with Firmino and Moreno.

When can we start stringing at least 3 wins in a row?

No No No.

is this the first time in EPL history that the goals were scored by the LB of both teams?

3 x 3 is the new false 9.

Cos if he plays as LB, he will need to use his weaker left foot to tackle wingers facing him going on the outside and when he attacks he will need to use his weaker foot to cross when he reaches the bye line.

Obviously there were right footed successes playing LB,notably Lahm playing for BM and Germany but that's a rarity. I'm old fashioned so prefer left footers on the left but admittedly it's hard to get a perfect fit.
It's not a certainty IMO. Though I'm leaning towards Arsenal to finish 4th, I won't write Pool or even Spurs off an still too early to be sure.

left footers are lefties cos they are hopeless with their right foot

my question will be: at this level, why cant a right footer cross with left foot?
Well, to be honest, the problem lies with the right standing foot not the left.

maybe i have played soccer at a much much much lower level but right backs who are right footed hates facing a right footed left wing...
the RB's biggest concern will be the LW cutting inside... i wouldnt mind if the LW continue to run towards the corner flag... furthermore, most right footers playing left can play rather well with their left foot so its hard to predict which way the winger will go..
They are what we termed as Inverted wingers

IMHO the most important thing about LB is his speed and his discipline then his tackle (especially so in Klopp's team)
for a left wing, speed and control is very important... the most important thing is the eye for a pass...
if u cross when the two CBs expects you to cross and is ready... its tough...

for a lousy player like me... i can cross with my left foot (when i was younger and fitter) but i always prefer to shoot with my stronger right foot... so i love playing on the left wing... especially if the right back loves to slide.... if i play RW, its hard for me to cut in and shoot

I think most people is thinking a lb will always be facing the opponent. But with modern Soccer especially high pressing one Klopp play. Our left back will be running along side the defender, which I think for right footer will be great.left footers are lefties cos they are hopeless with their right foot

Whether he is a left footer or right footer, as long as can prevent crosses and tackle well, he is a good LB :))
I think left back and left winger are different. A left winger can be a right footed who uses his right foot more playing on the left wing but a left back must be competent enough to use his left foot more regularly than his right foot. I look at Milner and when it comes to running on speed to the byline he is able to cross with his left. But defending might be a problem if the right winger keeps on going around the back and cross or run into the box. As for right footed left winger as mentioned can cut in to shoot. For a right footed left back its not often he get the chance to do that. Moreover if there is a space on the flank left by the winger the left back can exploit the space to cross. In this instance the pace and curve of the ball is faster and more difficult to defend.

You must be Deng Xiao Ping supporter...

whether black cat or white cat, as long as can catch mouse, is a good cat
Black cat white cat in Soccer context.Whether he is a left footer or right footer, as long as can prevent crosses and tackle well, he is a good LB :))
Given that over the years we had
Riise, Aurelio, Enrique for 1 season which were all very decent players. Its embarassing now that we have to use a James Milner to plug the gaping hole.
People used to mock players like titus bramble for excellence over 89 mins then do a mindf**k for 1min.

Moreno is the same type of player and arguably worse.
He goes mindf**k several times a match.

good site! i will try to remember to visit it. anyway, there's a spelling mistake in the top bar. forum spelt as foarum.
Thanks buddy. Finally someone who contributes something positive! :)
Also it isn't a spelling mistake...it's a play on the word Forum but incorporating our name FOAR.

Hence...FOARum.

The disqus commenting platform on which the FOARum is based was where we started little over 2 months...quickly gathering steam to 6,700 followers now. This is partly due to the fact that I am a relatively well regarded commenter on a site called This Is Anfield until I was banned for criticising an article written by Sachin Nahkrani from The Guardian about "unconscious racism" regarding fans divisive feelings about Daniel Sturridge.

Ever since then, people encouraged me to start my own site...but little did they know that I am not even based in England...two months FOAR is thriving and growing daily. My aim being building a global community of true believers of LFC and of Klopp not hindered by skin, location or views.

We are still making our way of course, but we are doing well. In fact, this is the first time I've ever revealed to anyone in Singapore that it was I who created it...so I guess that's why I was a little taken back by the initial reaction.

Again, this is not some poaching exercise. It was a sincere, genuine invitation to visit FOAR.

I have deliberately kept it free from advertising so as not to generate $ off the backs of the LFC faithful.

Indeed that is a worrying stat - and this compared with Brendan. Of course there are plenty of factors, not least of which an unsettled CB pairing reaching from last season onwards (with Sakho being frequently injured, Lovren struggling for form, Skrtel...being Skrtel and pulling shirts instead of defending). Kolo was the only one who came out with any honour last season - and we have sold him!

This year we have new signings Matip and Klavan...paired with the reliable Clyne (who hasn't kicked up a gear thus far these three games) and the ever reliable Moreno (LOL!)

Compounding the whole issue is a truly dodgy Simon Mignolet and the lack of an effective midfield screen to protect the defence (Lucas is remains our ONLY dedicated CDM) and endemic inability to defend any form of set-piece.

All these equate to rather gory stats on goals conceded and thus far this season, we are the highest ranked (11th) team with a negative GD.

Yes, you are allowed to scold, swear, criticise etc.
Wisdom joins Salzburg on loan. Its the Austrian club that Mane used to play for.

Luis Alberto on the verge of joining Lazio after we agreed 6 million pound transfer fee.

Sunderland has loan bid rejected for Ings.

Wisdom - sad that the guy keeps being loaned out rather than sold. Clear that he never had a future with us.
Alberto - if you factor in all the add-ons, we'll recover most of what we spent on him. Good player but never given a proper chance.
Ings - cheeky Moyes bid! Also tells us that he does indeed have a future under Klopp. Just needs to get more match fit. I like Ingsy a lot.
Seriously if u can't accept feedback. Tell us so.
I can accept feedback.
Can you accept my response eh?

Two way street pal. Just as you may perceive that I'm being flippant over your feedback (I'm not) it could easily be perceived that you are too.

So yes, I will look into your slow load on mobile comment...but this is first time I'm hearing it.

30 August 2016 - 04:35 PMExtinguisherThis Coutinho seems like trying very hard to score. It's like when he comes down the left flank, it is expected that he will cut in just outside the box and do his trademark shot. I prefer him to do more of his penetrative passes and through balls which he did very well during the Suarez season.
30 August 2016 - 04:45 PMAtrecordLet's continue to chit chat here abt Liverpool :)
There is no right or wrong comment here... We all give comments becos we love our Pool :)
Really can't wait to see our beautiful Anfield appearing in TV to millions of supporters worldwide :))
Last season (and before) i hated it when Pool matches were shown at odd hours (different from the typical 10 pm or 11 pm slots, as it meant out of normal routine.
All of a sudden this season, after i gave up MioTV, my android box only show the feature match during 10 pm (or later 11 pm during winter time), so won't get to choose the desired match... So now i hope Pool plays at 7.45 or 12.30 am... or play on Sunday... confirm can catch its matches only if it's the only match at the time slot...

i seriously doubt so... problematic LB and DM not solved... as well as some unrest in dressing room eg DS, Mama, millner(nt hapi wif his LB role)... but I still trust klopp and hope he can put things rite.... its gonna b a roller coaster ride as the other 'big' teams r pulling off... its catch up game again

Players who do not adjust well to new coaching style will always be unhappy.

Not only in Liverpool, but also other clubs; eg big names like Cesc Fabregas, Jack Wilshere, James Rodriguez and so forth.

Klopp is not one to mess around and would have to stamp his authority to get Liverpool moving in a certain direction.

Am sure he will know how to handle dressing room issues and big ego players.

Good for Balo to be off the wages ... It's $90,000 a week... To be off a year before the contract expires, it's at least $4.6 mil off .... Good business sense ....
Now, back to football on the pitch ! :))
01 September 2016 - 07:29 AMShortyMarkovic is a sad case. I really think he can offer something to the club....but the club think otherwise. 20m down the drain.

01 September 2016 - 02:54 PMAtrecordActually futsal is on artificial turf but as less players and small area, the intensity is higher than 11 a side on big pitch.

02 September 2016 - 09:48 AMAtrecord 02 September 2016 - 09:54 AMRaymondismYou very young. Last time football got many sizes. Basketball size and actual field size. Plastic ball more for corridor and void desk.

volleyball best... imho

not as fragile as plastic ball but much lighter than size 5 soccer balls

since it is light, it is gd for appreciating the finer art of curling a ball LOL
Last time play football always play at basketball court coz can have more teams with 5 or 6 players in each team. If play on field we need lots of players. And no goalpost so have to use bags
Another thing is to score a goal takes a longer time so we prefer to play at basketball court. Very suitable to play during recess time
We play who score first wins and another team replace loser team to play against winning team. But if we play proper match, then we play on the field. As what Raymondism mentioned about positions, I prefer to play right side midfield even though I am left footed coz I can cut in to shoot and use my right foot primarily for crossing. But I do rotate position and play on the left too. Most of the time I play in flanks coz I suck at defending and tackling
Usually in my team the best players will play centre defence and centre midfield. Players who are weak in fitness or no skill will play goalie or striker

looks like we both are "drifters"... normally dun help defense one LOL
Now that the transfer window has shut I believe these are the players Klopp will be relying on :

Karius, Mignolet
Clyne, Milner, Moreno
Klavan, Lovren, Matip, Gomez
Henderson, Wijnaldum, Stewart, Grujic, Can, Lucas
Coutinho, Lallana, Mane, Firmino
Sturridge, Origi, Ings

Just 22 players to concentrate on with Manninger, Ilori, Randell, Ojo, Brannagan to come in when needed. Sakho will be frozen out unless something drastically change.

Gomez can play left back
Lucas can cover CBCAn can cover RB and CB
Klavan i think can play full back as well

I still dunno what kind of player is Wijnaldum
i mean i know he is a midfielder but no one seems to know where his best position is and what is Klopp's intent when buying this guy

02 September 2016 - 10:56 AMBismarckvolleyball best... imho

not as fragile as plastic ball but much lighter than size 5 soccer balls

since it is light, it is gd for appreciating the finer art of curling a ball LOL

looks like we both are "drifters"... normally dun help defense one LOL

Volleyball more suitable to use on field coz ball too bouncy on the basketball court

I do want to help out the defence but the best player in my team always ask me to stick to the flank. But it is difficult because on the field we get suck to the middle as all the actions are there and staying on the flanks means I cant get any touch on the ball. The best player will tell me he will find and pass the ball to me, which he did. Actually only later when I think back then i realised my off the ball running is very good. Thats my strength. Coz my control is average, passing is ok, skill and shooting not bad, pace good. So sometimes I couldnt understand why he choose me within the first 3 picks coz there are much better players among my friends. Moreover I always pull shirt and give away fouls

Klopp is hoping Wijnaldum can contribute goals from midfield with his invisible presencecoz opponent dont know where he is
02 September 2016 - 11:08 AMBismarckRecess time we only do kickabouts, no time to play game/match.
On one occasion i played goalie, gey kiang blocked a high ball, think my last finger (instead of my palm) bore the brunt of the force, and i actually fractured the joint without knowing. Just si bey pain, and after school was brought to those chinese sinseh to rub (pain like hell) and bandage with the next good finger...

03 September 2016 - 07:26 AMKtglfcInterview on Alonso ... http://www.teamtalk....-ever-played-in

Xabi Alonso reveals the best side he has ever played in ...

in an interview with The Guardian, Alonso has praised the Liverpool side which finished second in the 2008/09 Premier League as the best he has played in.

Managed by Rafael Benitez, the Reds lost just twice all season, but finished four points behind Manchester United.

To win the league you need to have everything, he said. These were my happiest times at Liverpool: Pepe [Reina] to [Daniel] Agger, Agger to me, me to Stevie and Stevie to [Fernando] Torres. Sometimes it would take less than 10 seconds. The spine in that team was the best Ive played in.

You also have Carra and [Javier] Mascherano in the side top-class players. There was skill, steel and speed; it was very competitive, very intense. Very, very determined and committed.
This side did not win anything together but we felt we could win everything.

We had a few stupid draws at home and in the end thats why we did not win the league. We always had that feeling, that belief and confidence.

Nobody scared us. We went to the Bernabu and won. We went to Old Trafford and won. We went to Stamford Bridge and won: big games, big occasions that define seasons.

It frustrates me so, so much. In 2005, we won the Champions League with a not-so-good team. In 2007, we lost the Champions League final with a better team and a more convincing performance. In 2009, we played the best football and lost the least amount of games but still did not win the league. That is the beauty of football, I guess. It is not a straight line.

Not so easy to expand existing stadiums cos you need space behind the stands to go upwards. Anfield hemmed in by streets and housing. To be able to extend one side is already an achievement as it was a long drawn battle with residents and other parties who had interests.

Chelsea in London even worse off. They can't grow and have to totally rebuild which at one stage was not even possible. In this aspect, United luckier cos they are in the outskirts at a place called Salfordwhich is actually outside Manchester and other than one side which has a railway track, they could expand 3 sides of OT which they did n hence they could house 75k!!

11 September 2016 - 01:08 AMShorty1 player out injured. Wes morgan looked like he was a bit injured as well. Can leicester cope in europe?
Of cos! This is liverpool...no matter how big the margin i am still not comfortable.Kippidap!!! I feel we still need at least 1 one more goal to be comfortable...
Wtf. See la
11 September 2016 - 01:08 AMKtglfcLucas just gave the most ridiculous goal ever ...

Knn la. Can they stop passing ard at the back. They not at that lvl yet. 11 September 2016 - 01:23 AMcashcowWhy mignolet want to pass to lucas when lucas is at that position? Totally no sense.
Mignolet should kick long ball instead.

Lucas also should have kicked out to left.

Let Klopp give them the hair dryer at half time.
Edited by cashcow, 11 September 2016 - 01:28 AM.
11 September 2016 - 01:23 AMHamburgerWhile lucas must take the blame, i question mig why he chose to make that silly pass
11 September 2016 - 01:25 AMExtinguisherLucas at that position is a dead corner, not much option for him. I feel part of the blame goes to mignolet. Gk putting their own player in difficult situation, somemore it's a goal kick, more unforgivable.
11 September 2016 - 01:25 AMEug1388I was observing the way the players move into the final third during a counter-attack, and i must say, they are very fast in gettg bodies into positions. They are also more decisive in those one touch passes; akin to the performance played out agst Barcelona during the recent friendly.

Matip is an instinctive defender. Rmb he ran back to the goal line to anticipate a looping ball that eventually hit the upper post. If the ball had missed the post, he wld hv been avail to clear it off the line.

Firmino as No.10 is more effective than PC. He is everywhere in the first half.

Henderson seemed to have a better game as he released those forward passes with more precision.

Mane was not effective until he scored and that matters most.

My hope for the team in the 2nd half:
- win at all costs so that keeps us within reach of the leaders;
- restrict playing the balls near our defence;
- release the balls faster and get into open positions;
- bring on Grujic for Wij even though Wij has been used to provide the outlet for attacks down the center, as well as cover our CBs when they are exposed.
11 September 2016 - 01:26 AMKtglfcWhy mignolet want to pass to lucas when lucas is at that position? Totally no sense.
I don't understand why Goalie cannot kick up the field meh?!
If say that by kicking up, we will lose the ball, but it's still better than losing the balls at our own penalty area....
Hope Klopp can motivate our players to play better in the 2nd half !
Come on, LFC !
11 September 2016 - 01:30 AMMivec79I still dun understand y persist with Mignolet
Since karius is fit on bench y can't just played him
Keeper dun need match fitness
Every time Mignolet came out for crosses
I would pray he make it but most of the time he disappoint me
11 September 2016 - 01:31 AMBenTongPigeon brain GK what to do...I don't understand why Goalie cannot kick up the field meh?!

11 September 2016 - 01:31 AMMivec79He distribution of balls at feet also jialat and put defenders under pressure
11 September 2016 - 01:33 AMExtinguisherMignolet is just not an intelligent keeper. Lucas is not a CB. Put in Klavan and Grujic!
11 September 2016 - 01:39 AMShortyMignolet's decision has always been the worst. When he made that pass, there were at least 5 lei players in pool half. Watever short pass he makes will still b risky as lei can easily counter with numbers. Jus ask the defenders to push up n kick high ball.

A good result today and nobody fall asleep
11 September 2016 - 02:33 AMAtrecordOn many counts this is a good show.
Attack was precise and we saw lots of creative flair and good running creating lots of openings.
2 seasons ago we only had Coutinho regularly creating. Sterling and Lallana were the other likely ones but they hardly turned up.
Tonight I felt the line up was very strong, in that most were confident with the ball. All could pass decently at least and Firmino, mane, sturridge, Lallana, and even wijnaldum n Hendo all had spaces aplenty...
Lucas blundered once. It was a reminder not to get carried away and there's still work to do.
Let's kick on from here.
11 September 2016 - 02:33 AMSilver_bladeA good win for Liverpool. Leicester played quite differently than last season.

11 September 2016 - 08:35 AMAkulaWhat a result over the reigning champions to celebrate the new main stand.
Except for a moment or two, we were what we set out to be, tight and compact, along with pace and thot would unravel our hardwork. Credit to the lads to not let it affect them.
Mane"s pace, Firminio's brace set the tone. Credit also to DS, he actually looked interested and fighting for the team cause.
Defensively, we are ok except for one or two moments and Lucas howler.
Dun know if we or Leicester had me players away for International duty, but our tempo was good.
Hopefully we can kick off from here and go on to loftier heights.

Yes you looked at the amount of headers he won as a defender in his game.
Lucas is performing above many defenders . The blunder he committed was partly Mignolet 's fault for putting his team mate into undue pressure.
11 September 2016 - 10:06 AMBenTongTOP up or bottom up?I am up liao!!
11 September 2016 - 11:04 PMAkulaThis team can beat anyone with the blend of tenacity, pace, teamwork, work rate and skill.
What is missing is consistency.
No use if beat one of the top teams one week, only to fall flat on our faces against a so call weaker team the following week.
Until we get that bit, we will always be on an emotional rollercoaster.
As us supporters aged, not so sure if able to take this sort of stress.
YNWA.
11 September 2016 - 11:05 PMVegasPool has no issue scoring goals...only gripe is defending the lead. Too often they threw away wins.
They played well by closing in with numbers fast to prevent long pass for Vardy to chiong. Their attempts mostly from corners or the flanks which pool's back 4+4 defended commendably. Only goal conceded came from an unforced error.
If they can replicate that kind of smooth decisive attacks in future games, many teams will have a tough time to keep up.
Top 4 spot is not an impossible target...not top 4.

We start the season targetting to win the lge every season :)
11 September 2016 - 11:17 PMEug1388Hope to see our strikers start scoring. So far all goals come from midfielders.

With us now not being too reliant on our strikeforce to provide the goals, it also offers more uncertainty for opponent's defence to tinker which player to mark; a blessing i would say.

We seem to slowly progress into a team than rely on individual player's brilliance to nick for us the goals. That said, the current crop of player techniques we have are also not bad either; mane, firmino, wijnaldrum, PC if he is on form, sturridge, matip....maybe grujic.

It's almost impossible to contain Costa. Provoke him like what Swansea did yesterday and he will be even more motivated n end up scoring 2 well taken goals cos this guy thrives on provocation. Let him bully u into submission also not a solution cos he will provoke you into retaliation like what happened to Gabriel of Arsenal last season.

Think just have to play normal game and treat him like any other striker. Don't need to get drawn into his antics cos he's a good player and cunning as well.
