Acherlee....the Merc did indeed signalled right and the front portion started to jut out to change to lane once after the last vehicle cleared. He changed his mind after he saw the lane straddling motorcyclist in his former blindspot during the turn.

That was the reason the motorcyclist skidded and fell because he was trying to avoid a potential head on collision with the Merc. Probably the reason why he was angry with the merc driver.

I say the merc driver at least checked before making a comitted lane change. The motorcyclist should have ridden more defensively, especially in such wet road condition.
