A 60cm Dolfie Dream doll based on a character from the Japanese anime game ToHeart 2, Sasara travels everywhere with her Nii-Nii (short for "Onii-san" or brother in Japanese) Gordon - either on the crook of his arm, or in a bag slung across his chest that was custom-made to carry her.
She even totes her own DSLR camera and has her own passport - Japanese of course.
Gordon, an engineer in his twenties, can be considered an "otaku" (someone who is obsessed with Japanese culture, especially anime and manga).
An intelligent, articulate man, Gordon is honest when it comes to rating his behaviour: "Slightly not normal. Come on, I mean, a guy with a doll. It?s not really normal right?"
Gordon has not one, but two dolls. However, only Sasara goes with him everywhere, except to the office.
"When I first saw her, I told myself I had to get it. So cute! I really feel the bond, so she's the one for me," said Gordon on why he decided to get Sasara.
Sasara has clothes specially made for her and it does not come cheap because of her size and assets.
So did any dirty thoughts about his doll cross his mind?
"If you like the character, you won't think of that," said Gordon.
Gordon is one of many Singaporean "otakus" RazorTV met when we went to check out what otakus really get up to in Singapore.
