TEVEZ has managed to almost 1 goal per game and will look into continuing his goalscoring against the tight D of Benfica, who are well marshalled by LUISAO & young promising LB COENTRAO. The miserly D has only leaked 2 goals in 5 games and often their GK has been seen doing short naps & signing autographs while his team goes about doing the dirty work.

Wolfs beat Bremen 2-1 thanks to goals by new signing KLOSE & GRAFITE's 4th of the season. The affair was well balanced abeit edgy start. Bremen winger HUNT took advantage of some slack marking & headed home from close range in 21min after a defensive mixup.
But after that it was all Wolfs play and the home side soon equalised through KLOSE. On 41min, an in-swinging corner by BRIGHI was met with a towering header by KLOSE & the sides were level at the half.
In the 2nd half, there was not much action as both teams were playing it safe and launching pot shots from way outside the box. But Wolfs managed to nick the winning goal on 61min but it was highly debated though. KLOSE's headon pass from a long punt by TURAN fell kindly for the brazilian and he made no mistake from 10yards.
Burly STK GRAFITE was "definitely in a offside position" according to Bremen coach, Eric & he showed his rage by kicking at a water bottle in the direction of the ref and continuous swearing. "WTF was the linesman doing? Did he forget the specs at home?.. Even my granny wont miss it and she's 98!!"

In a clash between artisan teams, Arsenal finally got the better of Barca in a 2-1 win at Emirates. MOM PERSIE led the line wonderfully & scored the opener on26min. His angled shot from a corner caught VALDES out & VERMAELEN doubled the advantage with his firm header from another set piece on52min.
There were many chances for Barca but they were thwarted by the Gk & wasteful finishing. INIESTA gave hope for the away side with a splended freekick on79min but it was too little as the gunners closed shop with some stout defending. There was more bad news as XAVI will be out for 3weeks with a strained calf after a strong challenge by ARSHAVIN who was booked.
