Thought all Subaru cars use the same fuse cover? Or is it a different model for XV/Legacy/Outback?

I think Forester and XV uses the same. Maybe outback as well. Can't be sure. But legacy is longer.

On the left is forester, on the right is legacy.

Thanks. Thought Legacy and Outback share the same interior and chassis, except for the height and exterior, of course [;)]

The main technical difference between moonroof and sunroof is.

Sunroof glass can be opened like a window where you can pop out your head.

Moonroof cannot open, only a glass panel. Because of that dun need to have mechanical components on roof and glass can be bigger cos no need to cater for space to hide the glass. Forester's sunroof is huge almost like a moonroof.

Yes, ford kuga too, sorry I was about to get to that but busy with work.

Notice the bar in the middle? I would still term them as sunroof or "double sunroof" as some manufacturers term them in the earlier days, last time its really 2 separate sunroof but as tech improve they make it look seamless but still got the limitation of the bar can some cannot open fully. For moonroof its seamless without bars and cannot open.

The was the defination given any years ago. Now they anyhow hamtum the name cos "moonroof" sound cooler and less problematic.

    that's why I say is hybrid moon+sunroof.

the rear part is a moonroof, ie. fixed.

the front part can be retracted over the rear half ie. sunroof

Coz there's a 12 hour between SG and US mah. SG day US night. US Day Sg Night. That's why morning Subaru SG call in sunroof. And at night we call it moonroof.

Do you know we also have on the gear box to choose D for day driving and N for night driving.

I believe that those that obtained $38.6k COE had booked their cars when the COE was $50k (Subaru car pricing was also based on $50k COE). What they could clawback was the COE rebate level at $40k then which mean they would get rebate of around $1.4k.

Cos the solar film they give is very lousy grade. Might as well dont have. If you go outside and install solar film, may have to pay extra cost to remove the one they gave you.

    Okie, noted and thanks.

Hi, may I know the reason for not wanting the solar film? I thought the solar film will somehow eliminate some of the sun's glare and make the car cool down faster when driving... Thanks.

Because the solar film they give is very lousy quality, base on many of the owner who had collected the car.

    Almost no heat rejection.

Apologies to the bros whom i recommended my SE.
Recently asked him to do remove an option but he said cannot cos he already sent the order through. Car is more than 2 months away, but he is reluctant to make the change. Guess once signed the contract, he doesnt do work liao. So beware of "nice salesmen". Better to go for recommended ones who have delivered their cars to the customers without problems. Sorry to those who asked for my SE after i thought highly of him. Hope you guys didnt sign with him.

Removing the window film especially for rear windows run the risk of damaging the defogging function of the rear window. Should try to avoid replacing the rear window film. So better insist and ensure that they do not install the window film and if they do proceed against your instructions, put it in writing they will have to bear the repair cost for the rear window defogger, if damaged subsequently.

The window film is fixedlocally and done just a few days before delivery, so no reason why they cannot accede to one's instruction. At the most you do not ask for any $50 offset. After they agree, remind them again once you are informed to make the final payment.

Thanks for the advice. I sent a feedback to MI and they replied via email that an investigation is underway. Wonder if they will really do something, or is it just a template response..haha
